Strategy Tutor

July 19th, 2007 by Anne in Strategy Tutor · No Comments

I spent four days this week working on a new reading tool using the computers and it is called Strategy Tutor.  It is a web-based program that has reciprocal teaching strategies embedded in its site as a comprehension tool on the web.  Thank you to CAST (cast.org) for the fabulous training and opportunity to take part!  In September, my students will be able to log on to Strategy Tutor and practice their reading strategies on-line!  We’ll be headed to the computer lab on a regular basic to work on our reading strategies!  This is such an exciting way to enhance my teaching of reading and I’m very excited to show it all to my students.  We’ve got some wonderful on-line activities for the all school summer reading book, The Trouble with Jeremy Chance.
